How did what happened change your life, at home and at work?
I would like to tell everyone what happened to me. I was running team. I was in the bunk sleeping and my partner at work was driving. He fell asleep behind the wheel and rolled the truck 360 degrees, then dropped on right side. I woke up when rolling. I received multiple broken ribs, shoulder pulled out of socket, and cuts and bruises. The part that bothers me the most is the driver walked away with a pulled muscle. It ruined me financially and a lot of fiscal problems. But I wish no one had to go through any of this.
The accident I was in, in 1997 caused my family and I to almost lose our home and put us financially into a deep debt which we are still trying to get out of. I ended up requiring surgery and was off work for 13 months. My wife was home with my four year old daughter and our one year old son and was unable to work. To this day I still feel pain because of my injuries from the accident.

I tried team a couple of times but there was only one person I trusted with my life that was my dad. I got forced into a team by a company once when we got to the yard he went and complained to the safety department about me when I got called in she asked about it and I told her that I could say things about his driving but I wouldn’t as I was taught to work it out she understood and nothing came of it but after that I refused to run any teams.
Because your team driver put you through this did you thought of suing him/her? It was site of his/her fault? Or do you think otherwise?
