Roadside memorials can be found on roads large and small, urban and rural, all over Canada. They mark the location of a tragic loss. How do you feel about these memorials in general? What feelings or thoughts come to you when you see them?
(Bonus optional question: You may know the circumstances of some of these memorial sites. Is there anything you’d like to say to the people involved in those events?)
I don’t say it’s a good thing because for me, it keeps reminding me what happened. I think of the family and friends who lost a loved one.
But it is not a bad thing either because it is a reminder for people who wants to remember it. I think it’s a choice for one an other to decide if it’s good or bad.
Personally I don’t mind but when I see that, I keep asking myself if that person suffered (I don’t wish).
