How did what happened change your life, at home and at work?
My accident happened in the morning on a beautiful day that turned ugly. I was driving along the interstate when my left steer came off the truck as I struggled to keep my truck upright, I could only watch in horror as the tire (rim hub everything) headed towards the other side, praying that it would miss the other traffic. It didn’t. It hit a minivan with a family on the way home from a vacation, bounced off the van and went into the fields. I was shaken and confused as I did my pretrip as I always did and nothing was amiss. I was told after the crash that all had survived and only one had minor injuries. Still think about it.
What happened to change my life is that I’m no longer driving trucks and I’m in a new city now with a wonderful partner. This is a random photo in my new city and neighbourhood. I have found happiness after the sadness.
